The candidate should have a standard vehicle licence with no more than 6 points.
Duties
Operate the van to transport goods to various locations as per delivery schedules.
Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Skills
Proven experience as a Van Driver or in a similar driving role.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems efficiently.
A valid driving licence appropriate for commercial driving is required.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in handling deliveries and paperwork.
