The position



We are looking for a motivated Technician to support the full lifecycle of 3D-printed component production. Subject to previous experience and ambition, the role could include AM programming, where we would provide training to the highest standards.

Working within our production department your main objectives are to:

Washing, cleaning, and bead blasting components to ensure high-quality finishes. Inspecting and packing parts with precision. Mixing and preparing resins and powders for 3D printing machines. Maintaining machine cleanliness and performing routine maintenance. Hand sanding and finishing parts to meet customer specifications. Assisting with machine monitoring, including evenings and weekends (additional financial rewards apply).

Experience in, but not essential



Evaluating 3D STL files to ensure printability and optimal build success. Optimizing part orientation to achieve the best surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Maximising machine efficiency by strategically nesting multiple jobs to optimize time and material usage. Coordinating build schedules to maintain workflow efficiency and meet production deadlines. Starting and managing print builds while upholding strict standards of machine cleanliness and maintenance.

Ideal Candidate



Hands-on experience in model making, engineering, or manufacturing. Previous experience with SLA, SLS, or MJF technologies is highly desirable. A keen eye for detail and a methodical, problem-solving approach. A proactive mindset with a drive for innovation and technical improvement.

Preferred but not essential



Experience in Additive Manufacturing Software. Understanding of Machine Parameters & Build Optimization. 3D File Preparation & Repair Job Nesting & Build Orientation Post-Processing Knowledge.
