We have a very exciting opportunity for a Senior Nursery Room Leader to come and join Explorers Day Nursery! As well as managing one of our rooms, the Senior Room Leader is the third in charge of the nursery and are therefore responsible for supporting our Nursery Leadership Team, and stepping up in their absence! This is an ideal position for an experienced and established Room Leader to further develop their skills and experience.

This is a full time, all year round position with the hours of work being between 8am and 6pm. We are happy to accommodate the following working patterns:

36 hours over 4 days working 8am - 6pm. 40 hours over 5 days working 8am - 6pm four days a week and 8am - 12pm one day a week.
The successful candidate must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years and have a minimum of 2 years leading and managing a room.

Explorers Day Nursery is conveniently located just off the M271 in Nursling, so is ideally suited to anyone living or working in the area - including those that commute to Southampton for work. In fact, many of the children and parents have connections to the nearby Ordnance Survey, which gives the nursery a warm and welcoming family feel for everyone.
