We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby room Leader/3rd in charge to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our childcare facility, providing leadership and support to staff while fostering a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children, as well as strong communication and .

Duties

Supervise daily activities and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery. Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during shifts while promoting teamwork and collaboration. Drive the implementation of educational programmes that align with early childhood development standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education. Assist in training new staff members, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and curriculum. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for both children and staff.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for children while fostering a positive atmosphere within the team.
