Summary

We are seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our dynamic team at Cargo Express in the UK, Birmingham. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries across our extensive network, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

Operate 7.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently. Ensure timely delivery of goods to various destinations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles for safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving license with a category C1 entitlement. Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with flatbed vehicles. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: 12.75-18.50 per hour
