Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to all driving regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and possess the necessary skills to manage deliveries effectively.

Duties

Operate a 7.5 tonne flatbed vehicle for the transportation of goods. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to scheduled routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload goods securely, ensuring they are transported safely. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed vehicles. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.
