7.5T Delivery Driver - Dudley Based

Potential earnings of up to 38,000 per year based on 15.25 per hour.

We work in partnership with a well-known global furniture brand retailer delivering their products and are looking for people who are confident in dealing with customers and who are professionals in their field.

This is not self employed or agency work. You are paid by the hour, for every hour, that you work and not by how many parcels you deliver. Here at Unitmovements we take pride in what we do and deliver to our customers in the way that we would want for our own homes.

This is a new opportunity in our business we are looking for a qualified 7.5t Driver to support with fulfilling all aspects of our client's needs such as delivering items to customer's homes (with an experienced driver's mate, and don't worry, you won't be required to assemble any of the items you deliver), click and collect services as well as many more!

Heavy lifting, handling and carrying of products is part of this role and you will be required to support loading your vehicle; there is appropriate equipment to assist when required.

With the customer at the heart of all we do, you will offer exceptional customer service at every stage of the process.

About the role:

As the face of our company combined with a great service attitude, you will meet different people from all walks of life every day, no two days are the same as we deliver to family homes and business in and around your local area.

You will be accompanied by an experienced member of the team to put your first few weeks with us at ease as we welcome you into our business.

The role will require experience of safely operating a large vehicle whilst delivering to rural and built up areas.

Previous experience of multi drop delivering is desirable when considering applying for this role.

About You:

A full clean UK driving licence with a category C1 entitlement At least three year's driving experience Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices Good Customer Service skills. Good knowledge of your local area Confident with dealing with customer queries. Ability to work part of a team and on own initiative. Good time management.
You will be required to submit or share a Driving Licence Check with us before any offer of employment can be made. Interviews will be conducted by the Site Managment team, and will include general questions about your experience as well as a short practical driving assessment which includes a short quiz about the Highway Code.

Please make sure you bring your glasses if you need them to drive!
