Job Description

7.5t Driver needed for busy manufacturing company in Sheffield covering the whole of the UK.

As the face of the company on site we are looking for a competent 7.5t delivery driver who is polite, professional and organised.

Responsible for deliveries direct to sites across the UK you will help ensure goods are loaded and delivered correctly first time and within given timeframes.

Duties will include;

Helping to Load the vehicle, checking all items have been correctly loaded as per the customer order.

Assisting with unloading the vehicle on site, ensuring all goods have been delivered and any damages / shortfalls are immediately identified and logged.

Completing all relevant paperwork and returning to the main office.

Liaising with the main office to plan and prioritise upcoming deliveries or notify of any issues

Ensuring all aspects of health & safety are adhered to

Occasional help within the warehouse.

Basic hours are between 7.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday, however some early starts will be required depending on delivery requirements and location.

Premium time is paid on any hours above 45 hours per week and an additional basic rate uplift is offered after a brief qualifying period.
