Job Description

Based in Newent, Gloucestershire, the multi award winning Authentic Bread Company has been producing the highest quality organic baked products for the last 20 years. A small dynamic family business at the forefront of the organic movement, we are seeking a reliable and committed delivery driver for our bakery.

Key duties include loading and unloading goods, driving 7.5t truck, cleaning equipment and maintaining the necessary records associated with the deliveries.

Ability to identify the best routes, ensuring deliveries are made on time to our customers and in good condition is essential, as is a positive and friendly attitude to our customers.

The successful candidate should be able to inspect the vehicle for its condition, for example checking fluid levels and tyre pressure, and making sure that the vehicle is fit for use ahead of each journey.

Previous commercial driving experience, and a forklift license is advantageous but not essential to the role.

The routes relating to this role would require around 25-32 hours per week, Sunday - Thursday inclusive. Opportunities to increase these hours may be available over time, and in peak seasons.

We offer a company pension scheme as well as 28 days holiday, pro-rata for part time.

Pay: 12.70-13.00 per hour
