Duties

Safely operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed vehicle, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of deliveries Communicate professionally with clients, dispatchers, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure personal and public safety

Qualifications

Valid 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) driving licence with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar lorries Delivery driver experience is highly desirable Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for vehicle operation Ability to organise deliveries efficiently and manage time effectively Good communication skills and professional attitude Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
