We are seeking a professional and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to all safety regulations. Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 Tonne flatbed lorry safely and efficiently, complying with all road safety laws and company policies Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and punctuality Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon completion of deliveries Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays Uphold high standards of customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with a minimum of Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) entitlement Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with delivery driver experience involving flatbed vehicles Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for secure load handling Ability to operate flatbed vehicles confidently and safely Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour Ability to work independently and responsibly, managing time efficiently
