We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely service and maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and compliance. Responsibilities

Safely operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed lorry to deliver goods across designated routes Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon completion Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding delivery times and any issues encountered

Skills

Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with delivery routes Knowledge of flatbed operations and securing loads effectively Strong driving skills with a clean driving licence suitable for 7.5 Tonne vehicles Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules and routes efficiently Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards Good communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members
