Overview

We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to all safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant driving experience to develop their career within a dynamic logistics environment.

We hires drivers for 7.5 tonne lorries, requiring a C1 licence, Driver CPC, and Tacho Card.

These roles involve delivering parcels and require excellent customer service skill, 20 drops and collections 8-6 Monday to Friday.

We CRS group ltd were based in Liverpool with offices in Bognor, Blackpool. We've worked with FedEx for 20 + years have 48 depots nationwide that we deal with supplying warehouse and all class of drivers.

Duties

Operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed lorry for the transportation of goods and materials Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring items are secure during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs Maintain a professional manner when interacting with clients during deliveries Adhere strictly to road safety laws and company policies at all times

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK Delivery driver experience preferred, with a focus on timely and safe deliveries Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules and routes effectively Ability to operate a flatbed lorry with precision and care Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road
