We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to all road safety regulations. Duties

Safely operate a 7.5 tonne flatbed lorry for local and regional deliveries Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured correctly during transit Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and punctuality Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with 7.5 tonne vehicles or similar flatbed lorries Strong driving skills with a clean driving record Experience with delivery routes and logistics planning Knowledge of health & safety standards related to commercial vehicle operation Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading goods safely Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
