We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to all safety regulations. Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5-tonne in compliance with all road safety and traffic laws Plan delivery routes effectively to meet schedules and optimise efficiency Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections prior to each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon completion of deliveries Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures at all times during operations

Skills

Proven experience as a commercial driver, ideally with delivery driver experience. Strong driving skills with a clean driving licence valid for 7.5 tonne vehicles Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading goods safely Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules Good communication skills, capable of liaising professionally with clients and team members
