Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Service Driver to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 7.5 tonne tanker vehicle to deliver fresh water /remove effluent waste at various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused attitude.

Duties

Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to transport goods efficiently and safely. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. operate vacuum tanker, ensuring proper handling and removal of effluent waste across the Northwest. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policies using PDA device. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients. Collaborate with the Transport team to optimise delivery routes and schedules.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles. Previous experience as a service driver is preferred. Knowledge of tanker operations is advantageous. Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid CPC Driver card
