We are seeking a dedicated A-Level Chemistry Tutor to support a student in strengthening their understanding and achieving their academic goals. The successful candidate must be qualified in Chemistry and have prior experience teaching A-Level content. This role involves delivering customised tutoring sessions, providing clear explanations of complex topics, and helping the student build confidence in exam-style problem-solving. This is a paid position and is ideal for someone passionate about education and experienced in supporting learners at this level.
Duties
Design and deliver personalised tutoring sessions to prepare students for specific tests, including practice questions and exam strategies.
Assess individual student needs and develop customised lesson plans to address areas requiring improvement.
Monitor student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to optimise results.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding performance and areas for development.
Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages confidence, motivation, and engagement.
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and progress reports.
Stay informed about current testing formats, standards, and best practices in test preparation.
Experience
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching
A-Level Chemistry
, with a strong understanding of exam boards, core topics, and assessment requirements.
