About the Role:

We're seeking

experienced and technically strong A-Level Chemistry tutors

who have

recent and sustained experience (2023-2025)

teaching AQA, OCR, or Edexcel specifications.

Your role will be to teach online, following our structured lesson framework while applying your own pedagogical strengths to help students master challenging Chemistry topics.

Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 and small-group online lessons in A-Level Chemistry Follow structured lesson plans (provided), while adapting to student needs Identify misconceptions and communicate complex ideas simply and accurately Track student progress and maintain high lesson quality standards Maintain professionalism, reliability, and academic integrity at all times

Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

Minimum

1 year of

recent

experience (2023-2025)

teaching A-Level Chemistry
Strong command of

AQA, OCR, or Edexcel

specifications (

you'll be tested

)
Degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject (BSc or higher)
Excellent online communication and teaching ability
Commitment to consistent student progress and punctuality

A minimum commitment of 12 weekly hours across a minimum of 4 days per week

Assessment Notice:

Your

technical knowledge and explanation ability will be assessed

during the selection process.
If you do not have recent A-Level Chemistry teaching experience or are not confident explaining topics like redox, equilibrium, and thermodynamics at exam depth --

please do not apply.

Preferred:

Experience marking A-Level papers or preparing students for A/Agrades Proven record of measurable student progress
Familiarity with teaching tools such as , Zoom, or interactive whiteboards
