Job Description
CAD engineer
Proficient user of CAD base design package, 3D experience advantageous. Preferably worked in construction and specifically building envelope / cladding. Applicant to be familiar with construction techniques and required to interface WPL product range with building envelopes.
Familiar with electronic drawing systems and satisfy requirements of BIM. Must have the skill sets to be able to attend face to face and team meetings to discuss and develop our designs. Establish structural protocol with our external structural engineers to develop working details.
Preparing drawings for submission and approval to facilitate fabrication. Developing automated blocks for efficient produce of detailed drawing and progression of standard product to product delivery. Developing new products alongside the MD.
