The Opportunity




The Academic Administrator provides administrative support to the Academic Director and Academic Quality team. The role is broad in scope, and requires a highly organised, proactive, and resourceful team member with a high degree of initiative and self-management skills to deal with a range of functions and planning, scheduling, and resource management tasks.


These include scheduling and administration of key meetings with our partner university - collating reports, data, and schedules to present to our university partners. They will support the online tutor recruitment process and coordinate module allocations and tutor invoices and contracts.


In addition, they will provide key support during the student assessment process and ensure that student attainment records are accurate and up to date.


They will have a deep understanding of university policy, procedure, and regulations, assisting the Academic Director and Programme and Student Success Manager to document complex quality processes and support materials.


We're looking for someone who is technologically confident and adept at navigating systems. You should be proficient with CRM software and comfortable with the rapid adoption of new technologies.


Reporting to the Programme and Student Success Manager, the Academic Administrator will join a team of authentic, passionate people that all want you to be the best that you can be.


This position is a hybrid role based in OES' Birmingham office (2-3 days per week).

About You




To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

An authentic person with a story to tell - we believe life experiences add to our ability to work things out and make good decisions. Previous experience in a UK university-based administration role, providing excellent support to teams. A minimum Bachelor level degree is preferred. Obviously, it goes without saying you'll have great communication and people skills. Salary: 27,000 - 30,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
