The Job Role
Within this role you will be providing key commercial support to the team, working proactively to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the accessories business.
Working in this team, you'll develop a strong understanding of the FMCG business within the IT sector and will have the opportunity to develop your commercial and financial acumen.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
Work proactively with the Business Manager and appropriate vendor and sales teams to optimise opportunities.
Provide Inventory Management support;
Running daily reports on stock levels, understanding reorder levels, placing orders, and chasing backorders with OEM partners.
Create system part codes.
Keep track of aged inventory, alert BM of potential issues and raise stock rotations with vendor partners when required.
Placing vendor orders
New product set up and maintenance (PPMS)
Communicating product information to sales
Monitoring of promotional activity and relevant vendor claims
Providing sales support by assisting the Business Manager, chase backorders for sales staff and assisting the sales teams with product information, maintaining public folders so staff can find information.
Proactively seek for new ways to improve systems or processes within the role.
Adhoc activities relevant to the role as required.

Experience of working within an FMCG business or the IT industry is beneficial.
Motivated and driven to succeed.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
Organised with excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes would be beneficial.
Confident Excel user
