Win as a Team
We are currently recruiting for an Accident and Health Claims Handler to join our established and experienced team on a fixed-term contact, hybrid basis.
You'll make an impact by:
As an Accident and Health Claims Handler. You will handle a caseload of small-value travel and personal accident claims using agreed-upon claims processes to achieve an efficient and effective claim settlement.
You will ensure customer interactions are efficient, courteous, and completed in a timely manner in order to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction while liaising with brokers, insurers, and emergency medical suppliers. Escalating non-standard or highly detailed cases to more qualified members of the team and being able to review and interpret policy wordings.
You will be desk-based, dealing with customers over the phone and via email, so good communication, negotiation, and organization skills are needed for this role.
Your skills and experience
You will need a good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Your role involves handling a range of personal accident claims, some of which can be complex, so previous technical experience is helpful but not essential.
Full training will be provided to support your development.
