Are you a detail-oriented and analytical claims handler that is passionate about delivering excellent service to our customers? We are seeking a proactive

Insurance Services Claims Handler

to join our team, managing and investigating insurance claims across Public Liability, Employers Liability, Motor, and Property programme.


Either in-house or via our third-party claims handler, you'll play a vital role in ensuring claims are processed efficiently and that outcomes are determined in accordance with our service standards. You will liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to obtain information in support of the claim, providing expert advice and clear communication.


Depending on your qualifications and/or experience, you'll join at Band C or Band D, with opportunities for development and progression.

You will:



Ensure timely and accurate processing of all insurance claims Liaise with internal departments, external claims handlers, and other partners Analyse claims data to identify trends and ensure claims data is accurate and up to date Prepare reports, maintain records, and manage financial information relating to claims Assist in providing guidance on insurance matters and policy interpretation Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and service delivery

You will have:



Essential (Band C):



Foundation Insurance Test (CII) or equivalent experience Experience in a professional insurance environment Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent communication and decision-making abilities

Additional (Band D):



Foundation Certificate (CII) or equivalent Working knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and insurance legislation Working knowledge of insurance programmes for large organisations Ability to work independently challenging and making changes to process improvements
