We are a busy and growing transport & logistics company seeking an organised and proactive
Accounts Clerk
to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude who is looking to develop their experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update both
purchase ledger
and
sales ledger
Process supplier invoices, match to purchase orders and delivery notes
Prepare and send customer invoices; chase overdue payments when required
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice queries
Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs
Support month-end processes and general finance administration
Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/customers in a professional manner
About You
Previous accounts or bookkeeping experience (transport/logistics experience is a bonus but not essential)
Confident working with accounting software and Excel
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills and a professional approach
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
