We are looking to recruit a part time accounts clerk (hours negotiable) to ensure the smooth running of the account payable & receivable and to also help with all reception duties.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Maintain financial records by entering data into accounting software into Sage.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries and issues.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned to support the finance team.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Account Clerk or in a similar role within an accounting department.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with vendors and colleagues.
