We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing data entry tasks, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. Full training given.
Responsibilities
Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries and directing them appropriately.
Organise and maintain filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
Support the administrative team with clerical duties as needed, ensuring efficient office operations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of financial transactions including the company bookkeeper
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is essential.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent typing skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Demonstrated phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
