We\xe2\x80\x99re recruiting for an Account Director with experience in consumer PR and a passion for communications in the entertainment and leisure space.

Clients include:

  • Activision Blizzard \xe2\x80\x93 Part of the worlds biggest video game publisher and maker of call of duty. Leading the launch and sustain of one of the worlds biggest videogame franchises, across the UK and EMW+EA through strategic campaign planning and co-ordination of local market executions. Focussing on engaging mainstream audiences through impact in popular culture while maintaining the core community.
  • StockX \xe2\x80\x93 The place to get a piece of current culture from sneakers to electronics, trading cards to handbags. Our work includes delivering the best-in-class press office for the UK and EMEA.
  • Hurtigruten \xe2\x80\x93 the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading adventure travel group, offering unique experiences in the most spectacular areas on the planet. We support Hurtigruten Norway and Hurtigruten Expeditions in telling their brand story around creating authentic local travel experiences, through a hardworking press office encompassing press trips, news generation and reviews as well as brand campaigns.
The Role + Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in delivering integrated PR campaigns to some of our biggest clients.
  • Be part of a driven and ambitious team.
  • Manage senior client relationships, domestically and internationally.
  • Drive creativity and strategic thinking.
  • Create engaging assets and content for global and local storytelling.
  • Market liaison and crafting comms strategy.
  • Talent and influencer identification and activation.
  • Use data and insights to drive effective storytelling and campaign evaluation.
  • Coordinating global and local events.
Desired Attributes:
  • Excellent client service and campaign management skills and a track record of developing earned media campaigns that fly and have a deep understanding of popular culture and the entertainment space.
  • Ideally have delivered creative planning and strategy for global consumer brands, as well as creating local executions that reflect and shape culture.
  • Passionate about Entertainment and particularly digital entertainment (gaming, audio, streaming etc).
  • Strong client handling and leadership skills; from design to delivery of campaigns and projects.
  • Proficient in preparing and managing budgets.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and influencer marketing with the ability to lead by example and coach junior team members to ensure a consistent quality of output.
  • Curiosity for different cultures, experiences, and current affairs.
  • A desire to understand audiences and how to engage them.
  • Driven and self-motivated. Experience in managing members of a team and maintaining momentum behind work.

Our London Office:

H+K employs over 300 people in the UK, and our stunning Clerkenwell offices run over two floors, encompassing a beautiful roof terrace and subsidised bar area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency.
