About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead and manage service delivery in Macclesfield for a large pharmaceutical manufacturing company. You will work in partnership with client stakeholders and internal operational teams to ensure the consistent, high-quality delivery of Technical, Workplace, and Project services within both regulatory and non-regulatory environments.
This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for building a high-performing team, driving transformation, and delivering operational excellence in line with client needs and our global strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and governance across the account portfolio.
Ensure service delivery meets contractual and KPI requirements, driving operational consistency and innovation.
Develop strong client relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and identifying growth opportunities.
Lead change programmes and implement process improvements.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant policies, statutory regulations, and quality agreements.
Manage financial performance, including P&L responsibility for a c. 20m portfolio.
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing account team.
About You
Strong experience in IFM with a bias towards technical services, including a solid understanding of workplace services.
Proven experience in operating within a GMP/GxP regulatory environment and understanding of Quality in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Building, or Building Services.
Proven experience in managing P&L accounts of approximately 20m or more.
Understanding of CAFM systems and management information reporting, data, and insight.
Proven operational knowledge, skills, and experience in managing multi-site/multi-service operations.
Experience in managing large and diverse teams.
Ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities.
Strong capability to interpret and utilise complex and varied financial and commercial information.
