We're currently working with a highly regarded insurance broker to recruit a

Commercial Account Executive

for their Belfast team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and commercially minded professional to take ownership of a portfolio of clients while helping to drive growth in a collaborative and well-supported environment.

About the Role

This role involves both managing and retaining existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for new business. The successful candidate will be supported by a wider team of Account Managers, a New Business Broker, a Contact Manager, and a dedicated Claims Team--allowing you to focus on building strong client partnerships and delivering tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and engage with new business prospects to grow the client base


Maintain and strengthen relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients


Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic risk and insurance guidance


Collaborate with internal colleagues to identify and deliver additional services


Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and activity records using Salesforce


Represent the business professionally at meetings and industry events

Required Skills & Experience

Solid understanding of key insurance classes within the commercial sector


Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities


Strong relationship management skills with clients, insurers, and internal teams


Excellent leadership, delegation, and collaboration abilities


Confident in delivering presentations to senior stakeholders


Effective negotiation and persuasion skills, with a professional and tactful approach
