Are you an energetic, enthusiastic and driven individual looking for a foot in the door of a successful and supportive leading organisation? Are you eager to learn? If so, read on, as we are looking for an entry level Account Executive to join our Group Charter broking team.


Group Charter offer a broking service to clients looking to charter an aircraft for between 20 and 500 passengers and you will assist the team in various research, sales, administration and customer service tasks to ensure the success of this fun and supportive team.


As part of our 2025 Academy, we will teach you all about the world of Group Charter Brokering. You will learn about sales techniques, aircraft types, how to negotiate and research, as well as softer skills such as customer service and effective written and communication skills, within a classroom setting, before heading out onto the floor to learn from the experts.


You will support the established broking team by sales prospecting and market research within an allocated industry sector. This will be achieved by telephone sales and desk research identifying charter opportunities from both past customers and prospective clients. In addition to this, you will support the team with pre and post charter administration arrangements as part of the end-to-end charter process.


Please note that after successful completion of your probation (usually 6 months) you will be required to become part of the on call rota. On call duties can be done remotely. You will be on call outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. This is shared week about between around 4 others, so you are likely to be on call 1 week in every 5 as a minimum.


Salary - 29,500.


In time, if you begin making your own bookings and finding new clients, you will also be eligible for commission payments for eligible bookings on top of your basic salary.

What you will be doing:



Assisting with achieving targets set for each financial year Providing support to the Broker Team in all aspects of day to day trading Maintaining and growing of our existing client base Assisting with client care activities and supplier relations Ensuring the speedy turnaround of new and existing client enquiries Ensuring all new enquiries are entered correctly into the CRM system and updated on a regular basis Providing an after sales service and orderly maintenance of paperwork and files Researching relevant industry data to create new sales leads Building new business for Air Partner in a competitive market Managing and maintaining high service levels on demanding accounts

Please note that this role is based in Gatwick and it will be office based 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) to start, and will move to a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and two from home once comfortable and fully trained (around 6 months after starting).

A competitive attitude, with a sales mindset and a desire to succeed Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a confidence and willingness to conduct cold calling and to speak to all levels of people professionally Customer focus with good people skills and the ability to form relationships with key individuals Excellent time management skills to ensure rigorous contract and project deadlines are met A organised and resourceful approach, with an ability to problem solve logically Flexibility to go the extra mile when needed IT literacy (Microsoft Suite) with the ability to learn the functions of new systems Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail An ability to maintain a sense of humour, even in pressured situations A willingness and ability to travel, attend events and airport see offs

It would also be an advantage if you:



Have other language skills, apart from English, such as German, Italian, French or Arabic A passion and strong interest in aviation and Aircraft A degree in a related aviation field Previous sales experience Experience working in an international environment Experience working a support role within tourism or air chartering

The successful candidates will then receive their contracts the week commencing 1st September and the training will start on Monday 6th October. You must be available for at least the first 3 months after 6th October to be able to attend the training in full, so if you have plans of more than a few days during this period, this will hinder your application.
