Group Charter offer a broking service to clients looking to charter an aircraft for between 20 and 500 passengers and you will assist the team in various research, sales, administration and customer service tasks to ensure the success of this fun and supportive team.
As part of our 2025 Academy, we will teach you all about the world of Group Charter Brokering. You will learn about sales techniques, aircraft types, how to negotiate and research, as well as softer skills such as customer service and effective written and communication skills, within a classroom setting, before heading out onto the floor to learn from the experts.
You will support the established broking team by sales prospecting and market research within an allocated industry sector. This will be achieved by telephone sales and desk research identifying charter opportunities from both past customers and prospective clients. In addition to this, you will support the team with pre and post charter administration arrangements as part of the end-to-end charter process.
Please note that after successful completion of your probation (usually 6 months) you will be required to become part of the on call rota. On call duties can be done remotely. You will be on call outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. This is shared week about between around 4 others, so you are likely to be on call 1 week in every 5 as a minimum.
Salary - 29,500.
In time, if you begin making your own bookings and finding new clients, you will also be eligible for commission payments for eligible bookings on top of your basic salary.
