We're seeking a dynamic relationship builder to foster long-term partnerships with schools, colleges and youth organisations across the UK.
This is a role for someone who believes in the power of outdoor learning to change lives. As part of our Education team, you'll build and nurture partnerships with schools, colleges and youth groups - helping them plan impactful residentials that challenge and inspire young people.
You'll manage your own portfolio of partner organisations, making sure they have a great experience with us from first conversation through to their return trip. That means listening closely, offering trusted advice, and finding the right dates and locations for each group.
At the same time, you'll be proactive in reaching out to new organisations, growing our network, deepening our impact, and helping us meet our income targets. You'll be at your best when building relationships, earning trust, and helping others see the lasting value of what we do.
What you'll be doing
As an Account Manager, you will:
Meet revenue targets and other key performance indicators for the education team, ensuring both individual and team goals are achieved.
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through effective questioning and research.
Work to build interdepartmental relationships to ensure the optimum customer programme delivery.
Create compelling sales proposals to win business.
Maintain customer records using our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
Use sales techniques and relationship management skills to overcome challenges and retain business.
Promote and allocate charitable funding to customers based on criteria.
Work with all areas of the organisation to maximise every opportunity available.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of customers, the region, the education market, and sales techniques to drive success in your role.
You're a great fit if you...
Can communicate effectively and build strong relationships with both internal and external professionals.
Are highly organised, pay attention to detail, and maintain high standards of communication, both verbally and written.
Have strong negotiation skills.
Can work independently and take initiative.
Are confident using Microsoft systems.
Have strong presentation skills and are adept at using social media, especially LinkedIn, for client engagement.

We're committed to making our recruitment process as fair and inclusive as possible. That means actively working to remove unconscious bias and the influence of privilege from our processes.
We also know how powerful it can be for young people to see themselves in the people around them. That's why we encourage applications from individuals who reflect the diverse backgrounds and identities of the young people we work with. By building a team that young people can relate to, we can help more of them see what's possible.
