ROLE




We're looking for an Account Manager with a strong digital acumen, to work across an array of POM account activities and programmes, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget. You will identify, retain and grow business with our current clients, assisting where required on agency new business and pitching too. Working closely with a Senior Account Director, you will be part of a dedicated account team of talented Client Services and Medical Writers who together are responsible for agile working with a defined cluster of our Global, EU and US clients. Communication and agility are key in this integral role, the ideal candidate will be able to flex up and down where needed to ensure seamless team dynamics and on-point delivery.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Strong Financial Management:




Be responsible for all budgets and track their performance diligently, raising issues as needed. Understand the revenue recognition process and forecast for your accounts in line with agency targets. Accurately present financial updates at monthly meetings and able to answer any queries on account revenue.

Client Relationship Management

:




Serve as a trusted day-to-day contact for key clients, managing calls, email correspondence, and providing guidance and advice. Demonstrate leadership and mentorship to junior client services team members. Stay informed about client expansion plans for your accounts and take time to understand their strategic goals. Support with proposals and suggest where projects could lead to additional work.

Project Management:




Confidently manage project success by delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget. Proactively suggest areas where additional value could be added to projects or workstreams. Ideally have proficiency in Veeva systems (Veeva CLM, Veeva email, Website development)

Therapeutic Area Expertise:




Maintain overarching knowledge of key data associated with the therapeutic area and products for your accounts. Stay informed on the evolving landscape and industry developments relating to your accounts.

Internal Collaboration:




Build strong working relationships across all teams within the agency to drive task completion and output excellence. Efficiently manage account administration by anticipating tasks and meeting deadlines. Strive to deliver across all Emotive values and be mindful of them in your work.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


Proven experience as an Account Manager within a medical communications agency. Bachelor's degree in life sciences, communications, marketing, or a related field. Strong understanding of medical communications, healthcare regulations, and industry guidelines. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders. Strategic mindset, capable of providing innovative solutions and strategic guidance to clients. Ability to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events, with appropriate visa certifications
