The Role:
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented
Account Manager
to join our team in Reading. In this role, you'll be the key point of contact for our clients - the person they rely on for updates, support, and smooth day-to-day operations.
You'll be deeply involved in the entire fulfilment journey: from inputting and tracking orders, to communicating delays, resolving queries, joining client meetings, and ensuring our service stays best-in-class.
This is a hands-on role at a young, ambitious company. During busy periods, we all pitch in - including directors - to help get orders out the door. While your focus will be account management, we're looking for someone who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with clients
Track, input, and monitor customer orders in our systems
Investigate and resolve any order issues or delays
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients via phone, email, and video calls
Attend and contribute to client onboarding and sales meetings
Liaise with warehouse and operations teams to ensure client needs are met
Maintain accurate records and documentation for client accounts
Spot issues early and help prevent problems before they arise
What We're Looking For:
Excellent written and spoken English (essential)
Friendly, professional, and confident communication style
Strong computer literacy - comfortable using order management tools and Excel/Google Sheets
Highly organised with great attention to detail
Calm under pressure and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment
A team player with a can-do attitude
Previous experience in customer service, account management, fulfilment, or e-commerce (preferred but not essential)
