Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft.
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Assist with financial management tasks, including budgeting and forecasting.
Provide support for financial accounting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Mentor junior staff members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance.
Coordinate office supplies and inventory management to maintain a well-equipped workspace.
Facilitate communication between departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a financial services environment.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
