Department purpose
Achieving the firm's vision requires a world class Finance department and the Global Financial Control team adds value when the information we produce enables exceptional decision making. The team provides high quality advice and relevant, accurate information to key decision makers in A&O Shearman, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and delivering our service efficiently.
Role purpose
This role will involve overseeing the documentation, processes and reconciliations required to support the Firm's intercompany balances whilst striving to implement improvements and efficiencies. You will liaise with CFOs across the network to actively manage their intercompany balance sheet accounts alongside cash and regulatory requirements. The role will also involve managing the work of the intercompany accounts assistant and acting as an advisor in this area of expertise.
