Job Description

A forward-thinking and growing firm of chartered accountants in Manningtree has a vacancy for a qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years practice experience. The role will offer an interesting mix of clients in a growing firm.

The main job responsibilities are:

Managing a portfolio of clients

Accounts & Tax Return Production (Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies)

Reviewing VAT return

Training and supporting apprentices

Creating good internal working relationships to ensure the clients' needs are met

Experience / skills Required:

You will be ACCA / ACA / ATT / CTA / AAT qualified with recent relevant Accounting Practice experience (3+ years minimum) Be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, along with accuracy and attention to detail and a 'can do' attitude Had experience or be capable of managing a mixed portfolio of clients. Have a good working knowledge of cloud accounting packages - Xero, Freeagent, Sage etc Ability to work to strict deadlines and ability to manage time effectively Ability to work in a team to provide a first-class professional service to all our clients. Excellent rapport building and communication skills (written and verbal) Opportunity to help build and shape a growing practice
