As we continue to expand, we're looking for a detail-driven, proactive
Accountant
to help support our financial operations and contribute to our next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and budget reports
Oversee VAT returns and liaise with HMRC as needed
Process weekly and monthly payroll
Support with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors
Track and report on cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, and production spend
Assist with implementing new finance systems and improving reporting processes
Provide financial insight to internal departments including marketing and supply chainPrepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with established accounting principles.
Skills
ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent experience)
2+ years in a similar accounting role, ideally within FMCG, retail or apparel
Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, or similar)
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
Knowledge of inventory, margin tracking, and costing is a plus
A hands-on attitude, keen eye for detail, and ability to work independently
Passion for sport, fashion or activewear is a bonus!
