Accountant
Up to xc2xa335,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)
Permanent role in Chester Business Park.

Working for a chartered accountants the role will involve maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant:
- Addressing client queries with HMRC.
- Managing the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
- Compiling personal tax computations and returns.
- Provision of bookkeeping and management accounting services.
- Maintenance of up-to-date accounting records for clients.
- Preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.
- AAT qualification preferred, but not essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
