We are looking for an

Accountant

to join our growing team who shares our values, enjoys building genuine client relationships, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality, personable service.

The Role:

As an Accountant at HER, you will be responsible a wide range of accountancy services for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will ensure clients feel guided and supported through every stage of their financial journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of VAT returns for clients Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Personal tax services Bookkeeping support (Xero experience advantageous) Liaising with clients in a warm, approachable, and professional manner Responding to client queries promptly and with empathy Supporting the team in delivering a consistent, personable client experience Payroll experience is advantageous but not necessary

Skills & Experience:

Qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT/ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA) Experience preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Experience preparing VAT returns Bookkeeping experience; Xero knowledge is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - personality and warmth are essential! Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
