We're Your Accountant, a modern, fully online accountancy firm specialising in ecommerce (Your Ecommerce Accountant), crypto, influencer, and generalist businesses. With a team of 21, we're growing fast through multiple niche brands and a youtube presence.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Accountant / Team Leader to take ownership of a pod of accountants, manage workflow, review accounts and tax returns, and act as the firm's main technical lead. You'll support your team, develop junior staff, and ensure high standards, freeing up the Managing Director to focus on growth

We're a remote-first organisation with our team spread across the UK. We make sure to connect in person too; including company meet-ups and away trips, like our recent one to Fuerteventura.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a small remote accounting team.

Prepare and review annual accounts, corporation tax returns, and VAT returns.

Resolve complex client queries and ensure compliance and quality.

Support staff training, process improvement, and efficiency.

Work across ecommerce, generalist, and other niche client sectors.

What You'll Need

ACA qualified (or equivalent). Post Qualified Practice experience reviewing accounts and managing staff. Strong background in financial statements, tax, and VAT. Confident communicator and problem solver. Comfortable with cloud accounting (Xero / QuickBooks). Proactive, organised, and keen to make an impact.
