Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced accountant--either fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) or qualified by experience--to join our professional team.
The Role:This is a hands-on position suited to a proactive accountant with a solid background in practice. You will manage a varied client portfolio and be responsible for delivering a broad range of services including accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory support.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Corporation tax and personal tax computations and submissions
VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts
Direct client liaison to provide advice and ensure compliance
Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
Candidate Profile:
ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience in practice
Strong working knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations
Experience managing a portfolio of clients independently
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident in using cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
