We are a growing cash and carry located in Hayes, London, serving a wide range of wholesale / independents in the UK. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and experienced
Accountant
to join our team and manage our financial processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile financial transactions and ledger entries accurately
Process supplier payments in a timely and accurate manner
Manage payroll and ensure all statutory obligations are met
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and organised financial records
Use
Xero
accounting software confidently and efficiently
Prepare
quarterly management accounts
and
VAT filing.
Perform
financial analysis
to support business decision-making
Liaise with suppliers, banks, and external accountants as required
Requirements:
Proven experience in an accounting or finance role (minimum 2 years preferred)
Prior experience within the
wholesale or retail industry
is highly desirable
Proficient in
Xero
and MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
AAT / ACCA / CIMA qualification (or working towards) is preferred but not essential
