We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. Duties
Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with organisational policies.
Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
Utilise accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics, MIE Pro to record and maintain financial data.
Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
Maintain organised financial records in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Skills
Proven experience with accounting software such as MS Dynamics, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.
Strong understanding of financial services and financial management principles.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in financial accounting processes including accounts payable and receivable.
Ability to analyse complex financial data accurately and provide insightful reports.
Effective communication skills for mentoring team members and liaising with other departments.
Attention to detail coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
