Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, MoneySoft, or similar platforms.
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
Support financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure data integrity across all financial systems.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Contribute to process improvements by recommending best practices in financial operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, MoneySoft, or equivalent systems.
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data accurately.
Good communication skills with the ability to mentor colleagues or interns as needed.
