Accountant Position

We are a small professional firm, providing accountancy and taxation services to small and medium sized companies. We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team, who can work closely alongside other team members, whilst our business continues to grow.

The candidate must be at AAT or ATT or above qualified, and their role will include :

Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders; Bookkeeping tasks; Tax compliance work; Oversee and review other team members work; Deal with clients and HMRC.

Skills & Experience preferred:

AAT or ATT qualifications; Ability to use initiative; Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal; Ability to work both individually or as part of a team; Ability to build and maintains positive relationships within our team; Ability to accept and deal with changing priorities related to both own work and to the business; Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and decision-making; Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to developing skills; Ability to work to deadlines and organise workload to maximise opportunities; Ability to use computers to basic level for Microsoft applications. Training on software can be given.

Part-time position or
Full time position 37.5 hours per week

Salary to be discussed further based upon experience
