Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services and demonstrate proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making within the organisation.

Responsibilities



Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with accounting principles. Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial planning activities. Provide mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their professional development. Utilise accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal policies. Perform audits and assist with external audits as required.

Skills



Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage Experience in financial management within the financial services sector is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: 55,000.00-80,000.00 per year
