Oushk Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and experienced Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is 24 hours per week, with flexibility to work remotely with one day per week in our Stockport office. Flexibility is needed around office working days and the successful candidate may need to attend the office more than one day a week as and when required.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with HMRC, VAT, and other statutory requirements
Liaise with external accountants and regulatory bodies
Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
Assist with financial aspects of product launches, procurement, and pricing strategies
Support the development of financial policies and contribute to risk management initiatives
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business goals
Requirements
Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within healthcare, retail, or e-commerce
Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Excel
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare) is a plus
