About the Role

The Rent Accountant will be the subject matter expert for rent and service charge compliance and manages the setting of rents and service charges for all tenants. The role is accountable for:

Setting annual rents and service charges that comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. Monitoring all other changes to rents and service charges (e.g. re-lets, new development) for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Preparing annual service charge accounts. Maintaining and reconciling rent and service charge data in the finance and housing management systems.

Cobalt is going through a period of transformational change which includes the implementation of a new housing management system. Full training will be provided on existing and new systems which, combined with Cobalt's relatively simple rent and service charge structure, makes this role ideal for someone looking to broaden their knowledge of rent and service charge accounting.
