Due to a growth in clients, Shucksmiths are looking to recruit an Accountant, focusing on management reporting. We are looking for somebody who has over 5 years of experience within accountancy and accountancy practice experience of at least 2 years. Additionally, we do require experience and understanding of Xero and Sage Cloud.

This role will predominantly focus on the following for a small portfolio of clients. The frequency varies between clients of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly service;

Bookkeeping VAT Returns Payroll Management Reporting Financial Accounts at year end Director Tax Returns
Due to the nature of the above and the level of experience we are looking for, the candidate will have autonomy over their workload, managing the client deadlines and reporting to and receiving support from the director. However, there is the opportunity and requirement to complete other accounts and personal tax returns, on an ad-hoc basis in times of lower work commitment to those clients.

Part Time Applicants of >28 hours will be considered up to full time 37.5 hours.

On a standard week, one day a week will be worked within our Hull office, working directly with a client which will usually be a Monday.

The remainder of the week in our Scunthorpe office, with the option of having one day per week from home if preferred.

We work across office hours of 8am to 6pm, so your daily hours can be worked across this time. Salary is dependent on experience.

Pay: 25,133.33-42,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 28 - 37.5 per week
