Job Description
KMD Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a long-standing client to assist the with the recruitment of an Accountant. My client is experiencing an exciting period of growth, subsequently they are looking to increase the size of their well-established finance team. Their offices are Based in the St Austell area.
Your key duties as the Accountant will include:
Financial reporting
Prepare and manage month and year end processes
Cash flow forecasting
Business partner with key stake holders; providing them with insightful management information
Consolidation of financial statements
Ensure robust controls are adhered to
Lead and mentor well established finance team
Promote data-driven decision-making by integrating BI tools into daily financial processes
Assist with process improvement and streamlining of accounting operations
In order to be successful in this Accountant post you will possess the following key attributes and skills:
Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a similar position Solid understanding of accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS) Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and senior stakeholders Ability to mentor and lead finance staff
